Dominic Ona Ariki is a Cook Island-New Zealand actor who has garnered international acclaim for his lead role in television series One Lane Bridge where he plays the central character of Ariki Davis in three seasons, produced by Great Southern Film & TV, the series gained significant recognition and was picked up by prestigious platforms such as Sundance Now in the USA and Acorn TV in the UK. Dominic's talent and on-screen presence were further showcased in Stan Australia's groundbreaking drama series, The Commons staring alongside UK actors Joanne Froggatt (Downton Abbey) & Rupert Penry-Jones (Whitechapel) and marking the platform's first foray into making their own content.
Other notable highlights include; the comedy feature Gary of the Pacific, Sam Kelly’s gripping gang film Savage and portraying All Black legend Eric Rush in the miniseries Jonah and the upcoming series Erotic Stories for ITV (UK) and SBS (AUS), further solidifying his position as an in-demand talent in the industry.
Dom has also worked extensively with physical theatre company Massive. He joined the company as an actor in 2006 and has since performed in their productions of My Bed My Universe and the critically acclaimed tour of The Brave. Dom also has been working as a tutor and supporting younger ensemble members coming through the company.
