Bio

Actress Davida McKenzie was born in New Zealand as the youngest child to her parents, Dame Miranda Harcourt and Stuart McKenzie.

She has two siblings: an older brother, Peter, and a sister, Thomasin. She is also the granddaughter of Dame Kate Harcourt and Peter Harcourt.

Davida Mckenzie is an emerging actor from New Zealand. Davida has appeared in the TV comedy, “Mean Mums” (2019) for South Pacific Pictures; as lead role Abby in the short film, “Turtle Bank Hustler” directed by Steve McGillen and in “Bottle Money” by Rebekah Tyler.

Davida's grandmother Dame Kate Harcourt was appointed that honor for her lifelong contributions to the performing arts industry, while Davida’s parents Stuart McKenzie and Miranda Harcourt are also renowned for their work in theatre and film. Her sister Thomasin McKenzie was awarded NBR’s Breakthrough Award in 2019 for her lead role in Debra Granik’s “Leave No Trace.”
